Cortex Reply moves organisations from AI experimentation to large-scale, outcome-driven deployment.

Who we are

We exist to close the gap between AI ambition and business value.

Cortex Reply is the AI-native practice of Reply, a global network of specialist technology consultancies. We work with business and technology leaders who have already proved an AI idea, and now need it working inside the business, safely and at a cost they can defend.

Where we came from

Cortex Reply launched in the UK in 2025, spun out of the AI business unit at Airwalk Reply.

The name describes the job. Like the cerebral cortex, we filter the noise, focus on what matters and turn it into purposeful action. That inheritance shapes how we work: we came from teams delivering complex cloud and data programmes, so we treat AI as production engineering rather than a demonstration.

  • Roots in technology strategy, cloud infrastructure and delivery
  • Return on investment understood from the first day, not an afterhought
  • Part of Reply, with specialist practices to draw on

What we do

Where we are strongest

Six practices that tend to arrive together, because an agent that works in a demonstration still needs somewhere secure to run and a cost you can explain.

Digital Colleagues

Agentic AI that holds a defined role, with the knowledge, guardrails and integrations to do the job independently.

AI Enablement

Getting your own teams delivering with AI: the tools, patterns and training that make adoption stick.

Cloud infrastructure

The secure, observable foundations AI needs before anyone trusts it with real work.

Financial management

Visibility and control over what AI costs, with the evidence to show where the money goes.

Agentic customer experience

Contact centre AI that shortens handling time without leaving customers stuck.

Governance and assurance

Keeping AI compliant and auditable in production, with proof for your regulators, auditors and security teams.

How we work

We do not sell a generic platform. Every engagement is shaped around your operating model, because the distance between a working prototype and a working part of the business is usually structural rather than technical.

So we insist on structure and context. A clear role, a named owner, a measurable outcome and a budget line that holds it to account. Years of hands-on engineering have given us accelerators that get AI live within weeks rather than months, without loosening our grip on governance, security or cost.

  • One accountable role per agent, with an owner and a measurable outcome
  • Accelerators that reach production in weeks, not months
  • Governance, security and cost control designed in from the start

Our AI Employment Framework

Four stages, and the same discipline you would apply to any hire.

  1. 1

    Define

Not every job suits AI. We work with your leadership to find where it delivers most value, set the strategy and technical foundations it needs, and build the business case before anyone commits budget.

  2. 2

    Onboard

We build the colleague itself: the knowledge, the guardrails and the integrations it needs to carry out the role independently, and we train your people to work alongside it as they would any new team member.

  3. 3

    Manage

We take pilots into production and make adoption stick. Your teams get the tools, training and patterns to deliver with AI themselves.

  4. 4

    Review

We keep AI safe, compliant and cost-controlled in production, with the evidence to prove it to your regulators, auditors or security teams.

AI adoption fails when it's treated as a standalone initiative. We start with secure foundations, add the right capabilities, and deliver AI that actually augments people; not just demos well.
